At Key Stage 4 pupils will be entered for either Entry Level Certificate or GCSE examinations depending upon their level of ability and providing the requirements of the examination course have been completed successfully.

The following exemptions apply to entry for examinations:

If, after an entry has been made and approved by the parents/carers, a pupil fails to arrive for an examination or is withdrawn on educational grounds (i.e. insufficient coursework) then the parents/carers are liable for the fee. Illness on the day of the examination supported by a doctor’s note removes the liability.
